IS Lesson #4

During our 4th lesson, we briefly learnt about CSS(cascading style sheets). With CSS, we can add style to websites and make the website more colourful. It may attract more people too. Without CSS, the website would probably be in black and white unless there are pictures, which is quite dull and appears uninteresting. I learnt some helpful things during the lesson and enjoyed myself once again.

IS Lesson #3

During our 3rd IS lesson, we learnt how to use HTML and were given assignments to do. We had to work in pairs to complete a worksheet. I found it challenging and it was a good opportunity to get to know my partner better. HTML can be very inconvinient but once you get used to it, it is rather fine. I learnt lots of new things during this lesson.

IS Lesson #2

During our 2nd lesson, we look a long while to settle down, causing us to have only a short period of time to use the computer. We learnt about forums and how to go about it. Forums can be used to find out what people's opinions of a certain topic is. We submitted our blog URL to him and created a ning account. We did not really learn much but I enjoyed the lesson.

1st IS lesson

Today was the 1st IS lesson. We got to meet our IS teacher, Mr Cheong. He is friendly and nice and I hope to learn as much as i can from him.

Today,we briefly got to know about what we will be learning during future IS lessons. Mr Cheong went through some slides about the internet and computer related stuff. We have not got to use the computer though.

I enjoyed today's lesson and look forward to the next IS lesson.
